Well, the day has come. Might as well have come before but I just wasn’t ready… I guess I’m still not ready, seeing as how the new site isn’t ready to roll yet… but it will be, momentarily.

This is a chau chau to any of you that might still be around, which actually means the world to me. WillingWarrior marked such an important time of my life and such a transformation… but when things transform they must change.

I’m changing.

Stick around though. Much to come. Please, stay tuned. You can still come back to this site. It will direct you where you need to go. Or stay subscribed on iTunes. The feed will change on its own.

You have been the world to me. Now let’s go explore…

With all my heart, till soon,
Brad

Willing Warrior was such an important beacon during the darkest days - lets hope that the glow on the horizon is not that of our rights and liberties being burned, but rather the dawn of a new, even more hopeful day.

Congratulations on the birth of Brad 2.0 (or is it 3.0?) - you’re an amazing guy.

    Ever,

    tp

Glad to see you’re back. Your feed has just been sitting at the bottom of my iTunes list, I was so happy to see a new video. Your videos have meant the world to me. They’ve really helped me get to accept myself. I don’t know, you have a way of making gay seem normal. Glad to hear things are going good and can’t wait to see what’s coming up.

    Willing Warrior Brad,
I just want to say thank you for your effort and knowledge you have put into your podcast.
You gave a lot of issues a voice and this has helped me with the acceptance of my own sexuality, and for this I am truly grateful.
I first saw your podcast a few years ago when I was teaching English in Taiwan and once I returned back home to Australia I got involved.
I look forward to seeing what your next journey may bring.
    Wishing you all the best,
    Jay :-)

One piece of advice that you didn’t ask for nor will you like: why don’t you try to overcome the stereotypical gay vanity and self-indulgence that you put into the wwfinal movie? It just looks like this site is more about you than it is about any topical issue.

That’s perfectly fine for a personal site, but IMHO you shouldn’t pretend to be about any kind of change when you leave the site unattended for months and then restart it with a shirtless video shaving your head. This can’t be taken seriously.

    Brad,
I have watched the entire evolution of Willing Warrior from it’s beginnings and it has moved me greatly and has inspired a lot in me including lots of ideas about how to take what you have started to greater and more comprehensive levels of outreach for the benefit and uplliftment of the larger human community worldwide. I have been particularly touched by the innate, understated and yet deeply interwoven and evident spirituality that radiates throughout your many raw and wonderful expressions. I have written and am still writing a rather long letter to you full of thoughts and reflections which I will be sending to you sometime when it feels complete, which could be awhile still. I am currently traveling around the world and so have been having many rich adventures and am opening myself up to many new and exciting global frontiers. I am glad to hear that you are dreaming up and preparing a new phase of your most remarkable and courageous form of self-expression and inspired media activism. It seems like now (as WW is shedding it’s old form and getting ready to mutate into something new) is a good time for me to make initial contact and just let you know that I am out here and definitely staying tuned in. I plan to be, and look forward to being, in better communication with you in the future and to maybe even helping you take everything that you are passionate about and wanting to do to the next level.

God Bless you for being Willing to be the “Out Loud” Warrior that you are and for sharing it so creatively with the world. I also want to say that I really respect and honor your right to change and evolve and to not post things for long periods of time, it is fully your prerogative being the creator of WW as you are (although I also understand your feeling bad about dropping off the radar and thereby letting some people down …I’m sure i would feel the same way if I were in your position). While I do miss your more regular vlog posts, I also respect your need to attend to your life - which I imagine is quite full-on these days like mine is and so many others lives are at this most intense, turbulent and transformational time to be alive on planet Earth - and turn within for awhile and work on yourself and your more local sphere of immediate intimate relations. Being a human being and just living a happy life does indeed take a lot of effort and courage. It is in this arena of ones personal life where our warriorship is most profoundly and continually honed and tested. I really personally understand the value of and the need to constantly be recreating oneself in the image of (y)our evolving selfhood. I trust that what is emerging in your case will be an older, wiser, more mature, more skillful and generally more awesome Warrior with lots more to offer us and the world at large !!

It is indeed important to learn how not to come from a place of anguish & despair as a driving force behind what you do as that will necessarily inform all that you do. I deeply and personally understand that. It is much better to learn how to find a way to come from a place of being already happy and contented with ones life (not complaisant though) and be driven instead by the pure boundless power of Love and Happiness and the passionate and celebratory desire to share, spread and engender THAT throughout the greater human family while creatively and compassionately fighting for the dignity and fundamental rights of all humans of all races and spiritual and sexual orientations. This naturally involves particular extra attention toward helping the various minorities become empowered and attain their just dignity and basic social and self-respect that they are so often lacking. Your efforts particularly on behalf of inspiring the non-heterosexual populations toward finding our self-love and dignity has been very unique and exemplary and I would really love to see more of that from you in the future in whatever form it takes.

I enthusiastically support you on your path towards being who you are becoming. That very often requires letting go of always “doing” things and doing the same things and involves cultivating and practicing “not-doing” or just simply entering more into the “being mode” which is wherefrom everything that we do flows.

It has been an honor and privilege to watch as much of your process of growth and self-empowerment as you have shared with us. I know that you have genuinely helped and inspired many. You are a beautiful soul and I want to thank you for sharing yourself with the world as you have done. You have been very much SEEN and really deeply appreciated unconditionally by me. I look forward to getting in contact with you in the future most likely once I am back in the states which should be sometime in 2009.

DEEPEST LOVE AND BRIGHTEST BLESSINGS !!!

    Mark
